Jack Fusco an Astrophotographer took pictures of some strange UFO lights in the sky above Ocean City, New Jersey on 31st July 2013. As Jack said he first saw some bright lights in the sky appearing one by one, and then disappearing very slowly. While he observed the sky few minutes later he saw the same lights in another part of the sky. There was only 20 second between each spot, after that the lights disappeared.
About 30 to 40 minutes later he was approached by cops asking him some questions. One of them was what time he started to watching the sky and if he saw anything strange. The officers mentioned that there have been some fireworks or flares above the ocean. He was told that if he saw anything else he call them.
These amazing UFO photos were posted on Jack Fusco Facebook page.

We were sitting on the porch when we noticed a bright orange object flying. I never saw anything like the object before. It was spherical in shape and emitted an orange glow. The object was moving steadily from the SW to the NE at variable speeds, at times ascending and then descending. Four objects were seen in total travelling in the same direction approximately a minute or two apart in similar paths. The objects disappeared from our field of view. All of us were stunned and surprised as we had never observed anything like this.
My husband saw something in the sky in the backyard. He saw lights above the neighbors shed. Went outside and witnessed to orange red lights in the sky. It passed over our house, looked like a wing and when it passed it covered the stars in the background behind it. Not sure what we saw, but by the time we got to the front of the house it was in the distance and disappeared. During the whole time we seen the flying object there was NO sound.
The world today are awash of various things that come to its atmospheric space from other parts of the universe to which scientists have wondered and still continue to ponder about their origins. In the recent past a lot of news have been spread talking about UFO sightings. Probably the best question that one can possibly ask is, “Are these UFOs of any threat to the society?” “What could be the reasons for their appearances in the skies?” these and many more stories have been found exiting to the general public. In the year 2009, a great aerial sign was seen in the sky at Morris County, New Jersey. These are what are called the Morristown UFO hoax. They are also known as The Great UFO Hoax of 2009. They appeared as though they were UFO sightings. This occurrence was originally unidentified by the initial witnesses. The Morristown UFO hoax occurred on Monday, January 5, 2009. The timing for the occurrence was between 8:15 pm and 9:00 pm.
Some revelations have been put forth though, which claim that this event was actually planned for and was not in any way part of the usual UFO sightings. The planners who were known as the hoaxers, meant to have this event be as a social experiment hence, the term hoax. What really happened at this Morristown UFO hoax was that these hoaxers tied five lights to a helium balloon and released it to the skies above Morris County in New Jersey. The concentrations of these UFO hoax sightings were over the towns of Hanover Township, Morris Plains, Morristown, Florham Park and Madison town.
The most immediate response of the witnesses was to call 911, i.e. the Police Departments informing them of the same. For instance, at around 8:28 pm, the first call was received by Hanover Township Police Department. Several other neighboring departments confirmed receiving the same calls. A lot of people were alarmed by the Morristown UFO hoax that they sighted on the sky. As is expected, the Police had to alert the Airports about hazard to the airplanes.
The scenario at Morristown though, was a complete hoax which led even to the prosecution of the perpetrators of the same. The Morristown UFO hoax ran the headlines of all television and radio stations in the vicinity for a long period of time. In fact, even the internet carried these news about the UFO hoax. A major internet website that ran this news was the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Joe Rudy and Chris Russo, the organizers of this UFO hoax when questioned about it months later on July 18, 2009, stated that they perpetrated this hoax to show people how unreliable eyewitnesses as well as the UFO investigators were. This they revealed through an eSkeptic article that was published in the Skeptic Magazine. In this article, they give finer details as to why they set up the hoax, how they did it and even provide links to videos of how they did it, their preparations, launch and the following media coverage.
Other than this Morristown UFO hoax, similar UFO sightings had been observed in New Jersey before. John Janssen for instance, in July 10, 1947, while flying his plane that early morning spotted these strange sightings. He described them as six in number and were luminous spherical in shape and appeared as though they were aircrafts. However, they had hazy rings around them and flew in a trail high above him in the sky. As for the Morristown UFO hoaxes, Joe and Chris repeated several other hoaxes in New Jersey which took place on January 25, January 29, February 7 and February 17.
